Looks Like a Good Weekend

According to Steve at Slate Run Tackle, the Tan Cuddis, Blue Quill and Quill Gordon will all be hatching this weekend. The creek is running good and the weather will be perfect 50-60's and sunny. It seems like a lot of people are reporting catching some fish today and tomorrow should be even nicer.

Weekend Fishing Report

According to Tom Finkbinder at the Slate Run General Store, the water levels are good for fishing in Pine Creek with temperature a little on the cooler side. Delayed harvest area in Pine Creek near Slate run open and No kill fly-fishing up the smaller branches of Slate Run and Cedar Run. Looks like the air temperature highs for the weekend will be close to freezing...so dress warm. Only 9 more days until Fly fishing season opens on April 14th.
